Our Catholic faith in North and Central Georgia is strong because it is rooted in Christ—and together, we are called to help it grow.
Rooted in Christ—Growing in Faith is a bold, faith-filled campaign that will strengthen parishes, form disciples, and ensure that the mission of the Church continues to flourish for generations to come.
A Shared Commitment Across the Archdiocese
With a campaign goal of $185 million, every parish and mission in the Archdiocese of Atlanta is participating in this unified effort. Together, we are answering Christ’s call to deepen faith, build community, and serve a rapidly growing Catholic population.
Why This Campaign Matters
The Archdiocese of Atlanta is one of the fastest-growing Catholic communities in the nation. Each year, new families arrive, parishes expand, and ministries deepen. This growth is a blessing—and a responsibility.
Through this campaign, we will:
• Strengthen parishes by addressing critical local needs
• Form missionary disciples through evangelization, education, and ministry
• Serve our vulnerable neighbors including those facing mental health challenges and those in need
• Prepare for the future by caring for clergy, facilities, and long-term sustainability
Growing in Faith—Together
The campaign combines archdiocesan priorities with direct parish support, ensuring that every gift makes an impact—both locally and across Georgia. Most importantly, it invites every household to prayerfully participate according to their means.
This is more than a financial effort. It is:
• A commitment to ongoing faith formation
• An investment in Catholic education and Seminarian education
• A response to Christ’s call to serve, evangelize, and love
Your Invitation
Here at St. Stephen the Martyr, we have been given a parish target of $960,000. This campaign will take place over five years, allowing families to make their commitments prayerfully and to give over time in a way that is manageable and meaningful.
Our parish plans to use these funds to replace our aging roof, make upgrades to the sound system and Air Conditioning system, as well as, renovations to the bathrooms. Any funds beyond that will be set aside for future expansion of the parish, which are displayed on the bulletin board in the Hallway. We are grateful to share that our parish has already witnessed an encouraging response.
As of July 2026, we have received pledges from parishioners totaling $1,261,000.
Now that we have surpassed our Parish Goal, 70% of the funds raised by our parish will remain here, directly supporting local needs!
